Inspired by Felix Jacomino’s iPadpalooza presentation, "500,000 Apps in 60 Minutes," I have put together resources for finding the best educational apps for your classroom. In a time of information overload, it can be difficult to find the best apps for your grade level and subject area. New apps are released every day, and it's important for teachers to learn how to find good resources on their own. As the quote from Felix states below, “Give a teacher an app, she has a lesson for the day. Teach her how to find apps, she can facilitate learning for a lifetime.” (Sorry, Felix if I didn't quite get the quote exact!)
The App Store is NOT the best place to find apps. The best way to find apps that have been tested and approved by other teachers is to check out the curation and review sites included in the Thinglink below. So let’s go App Fishing and find some great apps for the classroom!
